The participatory science protocols have been monitored regularly since we joined.<\/p><p>In 2023, <strong>96<\/strong> plant species, including <strong>7<\/strong> have been observed, <em>52<\/em> bird species, including <strong>5<\/strong> new (all have national protection status), <strong>84<\/strong> insect species, including <strong>2<\/strong> news, <strong>6 <\/strong>species of bat and a red fox.<\/p><p>Over the past year (2023), the A\u00e9roBiodiversit\u00e9 Association has carried out 3 protocol visits (including one at night).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6fa15c0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6fa15c0\" Biodiversit\u00e9 Association is to assess and promote the biodiversity of airports, to identify good practice and to act as a link between those involved in the air transport sector in order to promote more natural management of areas that respects biodiversity, while taking account of operating constraints, particularly those relating to air safety.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<button data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The airport has taken steps to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by joining the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme.<\/p><p>The Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) programme run by ACI (Airport Council International) independently assesses and recognises the efforts made by airports to manage and reduce carbon emissions through 7 levels of certification.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f6ebaa e-flex e-con-boxed ecological transition in order to preserve the region's environmental heritage.
